growth: crossing the threshold

 Materials; graphite, paper

Process:I took a picture of my face when it was stretched by my left hand. Then I drew a sketch of it, and decided to add roots and a flower to the stretched side. 

design: i used the chrysanthemums to represent death and pulling away from reality.
